Hole in the Center of the Earth

 Just unreal photos. In the center of this crater is a lake of lava, which then goes to sleep, then come alive again. Down to it is dangerous without special equipment. Smoke and sulfur fumes can kill.

 And the heat is just hellish - to survive without the protective clothing at the lake is unreal - burn in a literal sense.

 The volcano erupted in 1977 and 2002 - the lava came "from the coast, completely wiping out much of the city of Goma in Congo.
